This relates to Rtilghman's post. Could be a bad cold start injector. When the car is cold, take it out and put it in a glass jar that is securely placed. Turn it over and see if the jar starts to fill with gas. Might also want to watch the spray pattern (requires that someone else turn the key). It related to Rtilghman's post because if this is not doing what it should, it could be because it's plugged or because the ECU has the wrong idea about the engine temp.
