Smoke everywhere!

Could be, but more likely it is a clogged flame trap breather system. See the FAQ for instructions on cleaning your breather system. You should also remove and either clean or replace the breather box and its o-ring.

If you do not do this, the higher crankcase pressure will cause your oil seals to fail.

Once this is done, then you can diagnose the smoke by doing a compression test.
