Molly, it's not unusual for a bulb-burnout to take a fuse with it, but you should always be alert to the fact that *something* caused excessive current to flow and blow the fuse. I would take a few minutes and follow up on Rob's suggestions to check the sockets and grounds; also make sure the fuse which blew was the correct rating. Sometimes folks grab whatever fuse is handy to replace the one that blew.
