700 Ball Joint Replacement

Assuming the 760 is the same as the 740, you have one balljoint either side, which is attached to the bottom of the strut assembly with two bolts which will be TIGHT. The "nut" end of the balljoint is a taper fit into the lower arm - this has to be separated, ideally with a ball joint splitter. I found the taper end to be REALLY TIGHT and used a sledgehammer to free it. Replacement is easy - just bolt it in and tighten the nut OBSERVING THE TORQUE SETTINGS FOR BOLTS AND NUT. This part is critical to steering integrity.
