Do a search, there is some good info on past messages. I found that I just couldn't get to it, so I pulled the intake manifold to get to it. Not a total waste of time, as you can also:
- clean throttle body
-clean intake manifold (will probably be full of hard to get rid of carbon gunk)
- put new seals on the injectors
- check condition of vacuum hoses
- If your flame trap is completely clogged, you might find the the "breather box" right below it is also clogged
-check condition of wiring harness, and clean connections to ther various sensors
If you choose this route, make sure you label all hoses and wire connectors that you remove. You might also have a hard time removing bolt number 6 on the intake manifold. An easy way to get to it is to pull injector #4 (counting from front of car to back)
Also order a new intake manifold gasket, new injector seals, and a new throttle body gasket before you start.
-have fun
