Distributor Pin question

Randy,

I tried this a couple of weeks ago and only loosened the bearing (after severe beating) and increasing side play to the extent that was afraid to re-use. Perhaps if I would have made a fixture to properly support the shaft it would have worked. I bought a new distributor ($$), but made life easy. Never did get the pin to budge. I don't know if heating it helps. Hopefully someone who has done this deed can assist.


Did you get new orings for the distributor (large and small one)?
