Hi,

Remove the fuse and check the spades. If they are dull and fuzzy looking replace it, Look inside the fuse holer. There are two metal tab that connect to lugs on the wires. If they look nasty the holder should be replaced. If you handle it two much the whole thing will just fall apart. Get a new one from Volvo for about $6.00, You can also get a standard waterproof 30A holder from Radio Shack for a bucks. In a pinch you just plug the fuse into the lugs on the wire and tape it up carefully so that the lugs don't arc and bypass the fuse and that the fuse dose not get wet. Replace with holder when you can get a holder.
