Rust-Free, hunh! How about Dust-Free???

Reading in the Volvo Wiring Diagram manual for 1985 and a 1987 book (they show the same) the IAC has three wires.

The IAC terminal numbers a #3,4,5. #3 is a BN-W wire that goes to the injectors, #4 is BN wire that goes to ECU #23, and #5 is a GN-R wire that goes to ECU #10.

The wires likely go through the main harness, but are not the ones that usually have crumbling insulation - they do not go through the gray connector.

Hoope this helps.

Good Luck,

Bob
