240 Overheating ??

I hope you guys are staying with me. Thanks for the direction so far. I drove the car tonight and the gauge gets near the red but not "RED". So I looked around under the hood and the upper hose is warm/hot and so too is the driver side of the radiator. But the right passenger side of the radiator is somewat cooler. The overflow tank will squish when I squeeze either hose but the lower hose isn't as hot as the upper. Me thinks the radiator isn't flowing well. Conclusions??
