Just thought of something else. As I said, numerous bulbs in the radio, so unlikely they'd all burn out at once. Both of my radios have _some_ lights out, but not all (there are at least 5 and maybe 7, I didn't count), and they've been that way for some time. If you didn't see them going one-by-one over a period of time, you might want to check and see if the feed from the dashboard lighting control is working properly.
