A/C relay acting up

Thanks, I am low on freon actually, I didn't know there was a cutoff switch. I still have the old system though, and I don't really have the funds to convert right now, although it would be nice. I have the manual temp control with 2 sliders and fan speed dial.

If you have the same, and maybe if you don't, the relay is indeed behind the glovebox. To get to it, put your head in the passenger footwell and release the 3 rotating pins furthest from the firewall, and slide out the horizontal plastic cover. Then open the glovebox door and with a flat blade screwdriver pop off the raised 1x1" plastic covers on either side that fit into the door, remove the screws under them. Then go back in the footwell and remove the 2 nuts on either side that are at the bottom of the knee bolster. Then look near the glovebox light and release the small white rotating pin. Now the glovebox should come out, but it sort of hooks on the top over some molded plastic and on the bottom over the threads those nuts were on. When putting it back in, be sure not to pinch the wires on the lower left side that are near where the nut goes.
