Generator Pivot Bolt Tightness

Thank you George for the quick reply.

I believe the holes in the generator flange looked okay but the holes in the mounting bracket were oval. In any case it does seem silly to leave any play in the pivot bolts after setting the belt tension. Is there a way to reasonably get to that back bolt without removing the exhaust manifold first?
