Check Engine Light 200 1991

The check engine light will stay on when I start the car and the idle is also a bit rough. The light turns off and idle smoothes out after I press the accelerator and runs great. This happens only when I have driven the car for a while, i.e., warm car, and I go to restart. Any ideas?
