turn signal shuts off engine... not good... anyone???

Ok, here's the deal, I've posted this problem a number of times now, but it seems as if my problem has reached its final maturity. Originally, with the engine off, hitting the brake pedal or turn signal would shut off the stereo... THEN the problem moved on to when the engine was running... a turn signal or brake pedal would do the same thing, but only intermittantly.

NOW, the car will just spontaneously shut off while driving... the entire car, (power and all) will shut off for about 1 second, then restart... it does this for about 10 seconds, then goes away and drives normally until it does it again.

I originally thought it was a bad ground, but after a weekend of tearing the inside of my car apart, I have found no such bad ground.

Here's what's new...

in tank pump
fuel pump relay
voltage regulator
timing belt

Does anyone have any suggestions? Is this a short? bad ground? Bad computer? bad alternator? NOTE< it still does all of this with the car in the off position, ie I don't htink it is the ignition switch.

I would appreciate any serious help you could give me. Thanks.
