How to make your own custom strut brace for $2.00 - I did, with pics...

Well I could argue that EMT is not the tubing of choice for this application. I won't.

But I don't think using the strut shaft as a mounting location is exactly Kosher. It will load your strut bearings strangely (maybe premature wear) plus it seems that maybe while you do stiffen the top to top, you would still have body flex.

I mean I ain't trying act like no smart ass know it all, I admire your go getitness!!
