Well, I did bend more than half of them (about 14).
I cannot believe Volvo can make so lousy and badly engineered cars such as to put a rubber belt in the timing with a catastrophic event in case of belt failure. Most fine cars have a steel chain. I had a Ford taurus and I sold it with 240,000 miles in a mint condition. I never had to worry about a rubber band making the car engine explode.
Anyway, I think no more Volvos for me. But I would like to fix this one and sale it. Any BMW 540I's for sale?
I replace a broken piston and I have to received the new head. In the mean time, I need to know how to set the timing marks on the camshafts and I would like to see if I can get a kit with a timing chain instead of the stupid belt. Advise anyone?
