940 Bump Steer Bracket

The 940 turbos sold in Germany come stock with a brace which connects the
front control arms together to prevent 'bump steering'at speeds the autobahns permit.

It is a bolt up item and about $50 from IPD. I'm wondering if it would have
any effect on a car which is probably never going to go over 80mph. Does anybody have experience w/this intersting performance item?
