Well Luke, There are a bunch of great folks on here that know more about Volvos then I do. But I have messed with A/C some, I think I would replace the hose and pull the other to check it out real good, replace all the o-rings, have a vacume pulled on the system to check for leaks then fill it with the new 135a (is it 135 i thought it was 134... whatever) its cheaper buy a long shot and a diy job. although volvos may have a quirk of some sort that I don't know of ( and they have a bunch) this has worked well for me on an s-10 a caddy, a town car, and a crown vic. Assumeing of course that your compressor is not making any weird noises. on the wifes 245 we replaced the compressor because it was toast, checked for leaks and filled it with the new stuff it works ok. to improve cooling i'd highly recomend tinting the windows... it must not get very hot in Sweden
