identifying b20e engine 140-160 1971

Probably we are talking about the differences in US and Canadian cars. Up here all E's were D-Jet, all F's K-jet. Agreed that the E had at least two different compression ratios, but none under 9:1 in Canada. The 8.7:1 was K-jet B20F in Canada (with a thick headgasket too). I think US market engines had EGR earlier too, as only the 75 B20F had it here.
Of course all this was thirty years ago - imagine Honda people talking about their cars at this age!
