Best way to clean throttle body,Remove throttle switch a must? 200

I am getting ready to clean the throttle body on my 245. I am going to remove the throttle body, but I have heard that if you spray carb cleaner into the throat of the t-body that it can get into the switch, but I would rather not remove the throttle switch for fear of getting it out of adjustment even though I realize that I can mark it in it's location. My car has a start stall problem 2-3 times on the first start of the day, and then runs like crap for the first mile or so then smoothes out and then runs reasonably well. It will even backfire thru the airbox a little till it smoothes out and warms up. Any suggestions?
