Can't find button? to reset 'Check Engine' light 700 1988

'Check engine' means something is wrong and you need to check it. If it's 'Check Engine', then you need to go here:

http://www.brickboard.com/FAQ/700-900/EngineOBDCodes.htm

and read how to retrieve the codes to find out what is wrong with your car. If it's a 1988 though, I'm not sure if you have OBD (OnBoard Diagnostics) or not. The FAQ says 1988 and newer has it, so you should hopefully have it.

'Service' is a periodic reminder that you can reset. The procedure for resetting is here:
