that's the way to do it~~~!!!!! 200 1986

I did something similar... cut out rust, made aluminum sheet metal patches, used fiberglass and epoxy between new patch and old steel, and connected them 'til set up time with short sheet metal screws... and then bondod and painted.

Welding is a hard route esp. without lots of experience and the tools and safety set up... .like don't burn your car down. Probably the best route if you have the time but who does.. the body shop guy he could get the panels from a dealership and that the total cost to repair would cost three times what I paid for the car... (in my case a mere $500)

keep the rust at bay but spend the money on the mechanicals: brakes, engine, suspension!!
