Damn these holes keep appearing in my head. 140-160 1970

So...this fella stops by my house last Friday and says he's got this '70 145s that he wants to get rid of (for free give or take a hundred bucks or so).... So, I stop by his house this morning for a looksee...and, it looks like I'll have to buy it.

Original paint...red (faded to primer in spots as usual). Grey interior. I don't think Ive ever even seen grey doorpanels on a 140. No dash cracks... 116k original miles. Absolutely no rust. No dents. Got the cute little vent windows in back. 3rd seat. Manufactured the same month and year as I was. (Jan, '70).

Basically, it is exactly the wagon I was looking for before I found my white one (which may be for sale soon). Only problem is the auto box, but I can swap that for an overdriven 4 speed easy enough. And get rid of them ugly Strombergs for some SUs. And...this car isn't so pristine that I'll feel guilty about the performance mods I've always wanted to do in a wagon...

I'll post some pictures as soon as I get her home and cleaned up a bit... I think this will be a good'n.

-Matt
