Hard shift from 2nd to 3rd and OD 700 1988

My 88 760 tic, Aw-71 shifts hard from 2nd to 3rd and to OD, I replaced the little check ball described in the FAQ and that took care of the 1st to 2nd hard shift, quality and quantity of fluid is good. Any suggestions?
