advise on oxygen sensor.

I concur. Had a problem with my 86 240, wouldn't run right etc. Took it to mechanic. He replaced the new O2 sensor I had put in with spliced wires with a new Bosch. Car ran perfect. Buy the Bosch with the connector attached.
