Shock absorber - top nut removal 200

The strut is off the car. I am trying to loosen the top on the cartridge with a 15/16 " socket. The entire cartridge turns.

Do I need to buy the volvo special tools 5036 and 5037 or is there another way to loosen this nut?

If I need special tools, where can I get them?
