Overdrive Relay Humming

Hi,

I bought an 87 240 about 2 wks ago, all was fine for a few days then the car started humming. I discovered that the OD light was on and checked the relay per these boards, resoldered, etc. If i shook it, it would hum/not hum/hum again. So I replaced it, and now I blew the OD fuse.

Do you think I have some kind of ground issue? Which color wires are what voltage? What is between the battery and od solenoid that could be screwed up?

Your recommendations are appreciated.
