POWER SUNROOF 700 1987

I have 740T... The sunroof will open (strongly) But will not close. On pressing teh forward switch on the dash I here a faint clicking noise. Would the switch be the problem or is problem internal to thr motor assembly. Any advice appreciated...Thanx
