960 Reliability/Expense 900 1995

I am looking at a used 960 that seems like a good deal. However, 960's are a whole different concept from the half dozen 240's I've driven over the years! How reliable are they as a rule. Will I be begging for my 240 back after the first trip to the garage!? The 960 I am looking at appears pristine and has good service records. It has 120k miles and I would assume many more left. What experiences has anyone had with the 960 (I wish it was a 940!). Thanks
