I dunno what has happened to this car, 91 945SE, but I recall in uses past that when I switched the dial to the defrost icon, the "recirculate" mode would kick on automatically, and I couldn't override it. And the air would be cold if the temp was set as such. Now, I turn the defroster on, and the air coming from the defrost vents is faaaaaar from cold, and feels as humid as the outside air. The a/c works as good as it's going to in 95 degree, 75% dewpoint weather. I used to recall turning on the defroster on full cold during the summer, and at times it would condensate on the outside of the windshield b/c it got so cold. Now, it's as if it doesn't work at all, and air coming out at my feet feels colder. What happened to my brick? Has the rotary switch failed? The servo makes it's usual noises and the defrost vents open, shutting off the dash vents like it's supposed to, but foggy winshield is now the norm on humid nights, and I can't stand it!!!
Thanks!
Greg
