240 temp guage

Do you know which thermostat was installed, the 87C or the 92C. That might explain the below normal reading. Sometimes the pin that is supposed to help eliminate air bubbles in the system gets caught and prevents the thermostat from closing completely. BTDT. Thermostat work is DIY. Ask the Brickboard if you are not confident about how to do it.

BTW Do you have some shop manuals for your car?
