Gentlemen,
My front brakes aren't releasing properly. Not grabbing fully, but holding enough to be noticeable. The history is that the car has sat for a couple of years, has a resleeved, rerubbered master cylinder, and stainles/teflon hoses (so it isn't te swollen rubber. I guess I'll just rebuild the calipers, but I'm interested in what might be the cause.
As for the noisy suspension, Pete Fluitman was on the money. It was the lower wishbone bolt - either tighened in the air, and, I suspect, tightened too much. I've backed all the suspension nuts off, lowered the car and retighted again. Not absolutely quiet, but hugely better. Thanks guys.
Regards
John
