Engine knock, foreign object in cylinder

All plugs looked normal. I caught this and put only two miles on it with the knock so not much damage was done. Even so, there is no way the clip could have been pulled out since it was pressed well into the cylinder head. There is almost no dead space between the piston edge and the head.
