90 700ti just purchased. Any PM work?

Hey Folks,
New to the brick boards!
Just got a 90 740ti w/108k, sedan, 4sp. man.w/overdrive. Was owned by older folks. Probably well taken care of, but not to sure. I would like to know what I should look at just to make sure the brick is running great! Should I take it to a dealer and have them do a - once over? Or, I am just wasting my dinero?
It feels like it runs great, super solid! I have never owned a turbo car, but it feels like it could have a little more snap at 3-4k rpms. Is this the way it should feel?
