Urgent! Driveshaft replacement 1978-240

Well today is today. My son is enroute. When he arrives, we will be pulling the driveshaft, and then making our way over to the u-pull-it, to try and match it with a shaft in the boneyard.

If no match there, we'll then head over to the "Volvo" boneyard(more money).

MY question is this: Do i need to stay with same shaft, or will some of the later years adapt to my 78. My rpr manual lists 2(type 1130 and type 1140)for my car. Im not sure which one I have.
