I am working on a 1991 b230f i removed the IAC and cleaned it but i think that the little valve inside may be misadjusted. I know the ECU controls the function of this unit but when the valve is in the closed posititon should it be completely closed or is there a small gap (about 1/8 of an inch)that is open? Becasue on my unit there a small gap. The IAC is completely off the engine and just looking down the throat where you can see the valve it's a little cracked open, (about 1/8) is that normal or should that be tightly closed? Can that be adjusted? How do you do the adjusting?
