I recently replaced my M40 with an M41. After several sessions of cutting away part of the rear crossmember to accomodate the OD unit and it still making contact at times, my patience is about to expire. Do I really need the second crossmember? It seems that an automatic only uses the rear one. In the process I destroyed the speedometer cable. Anyone out there have a speedometer cable (long one)?
