82 244 rear diff

I am a fairly versed mechanic although i am a somewhat beginner to volvos, rebuilt 3 vw bugs and a ford fairlane, and currently rebuilding a 69 f100. i do not have a immense amount of tools but willing to acquire what i need! and i am pretty sure that is what it is called the trailing arm? it is the only other arm connected to the rear axle besides the shocks.
if you could give me some info on tools and amount of curse words required i would greatly appreciate it! VC
