I'm gonna look at a '92 740 wagon tomorrow that has a burgundy exterior and tan leather interior. I know some of the darker colors on older models have paint problems. For example, the clear-coat is blistering and peeling on the roof of my '89 740 (dark blue) sedan.

So, what's the consensus on the darker paint colors, like burgundy? Are some colors and/or model years more prone to problems than others?
