I appreciate any and all help, Kenric. It does the same thing whether i'm in park, neutral, reverse, or drive. As soon as the tach gets near 2000 rpm, it cuts down sharply, then revs back up, and goes back down again. If I rev it more, it just jumps and drops more quickly. Is this what i've seen described as "limp-home mode"?
