Have done many, both AW and ZF and never have a problem, of course, I go two quarts per run so I don't run the trany dry. Follow the instructions. Check oil before starting to see if the trany fluid level is where it should be to start. I notice that at approx. 2 quarts I almost start seeing bubbles and no fluid---a good warning to shut her down. Note what the other have said.
