Need a bit more information:

1. When you replaced the pre-pump a year ago did everything work fine?
2. If so, when did your current problems arise?
3. Was the pre-pump new or used?
4. When does your main pump begin to sound off (full, 3/4, 1/2, 1/4)?
5. Usual suspects. Did that include your fuel filter?
