Is a oil trap box the same as a flame trap 2 different things?

They are different, but the flame trap mounts on top of the oil trap. Oil traps do get badly fowled, cost approx 30 to 35 bux, require an O ring under them and can be replaced by owner. Check the 7/9 FAQ and you have an idea of cleaning etc. Basically same procedure for 200 series.
