Stuck filter? Don't fart around, get some of the large round jaw Vise Grips. No Joke, the diameter is perfect and it grips like moutain lion on a rabbit. Plenty of other good use for the tool unlike most oil filter tools.

But once you have the stuck one off hand tighten the new one good and there will be no problem.
