"Not sure why you would want an 89 steering wheel."

The old DL steering wheels had a diameter of about 17", so anything smaller is generally better. I think the '89 was the transition year where it looked like an airbag wheel, but the 240 didn't get an airbag until '90. I agree that the earlier small wheels are better.
