I can't help with your question, but you may save money and get a better filter if you buy one from Amsoil. See this page for info: http://www.fidalgo.net/~brook4/oilslubesfilters.html I'm happy with the construction, fit, and performance of the Amsoil filter in my '87 240, and I saved about $15 over buying a K&N filter.
