My 86 240 DL trans is not what it used to be 200 1986

Look at the u-joints, center carrier bearing, and check the trans fluid and change if it has not been done recently. The diff should have its lube changed as well from time to time. I use Redline MTL in my trans and their hypoid in the rear, but any quality lube will probably be better than you have in there if it hasn't been changed in a while.

You can search for "carrier bearing" "universal joints", etc on this forum and find a lot of info. And the 700/900 FAQ also has lots of driveline help.

And it helps to use paragraphs and so forth when posting so we can read your queries more easily.
