All,
I have just read an article about an article that was published in the Swedish car magazine "Vi Bilagare".
The article notes that few Volvo models, that have been tested, were found to have a damaging level of electro-magnetic radiation. The level of radiation are much higher than the industry's standard and are centred around the driver area.
They can cause cancer and abortions.
The models checked were: V70, S60 and S80, however, not all older models were checked.
It claims the possible source for the radiation is the electric installations that transfer the electricity from the battery in the back, to the engine in front or from the wires in the front seats.
Does anyone have any extra detailed information about this?
I have a 1982 244 GL, any specific info about this model?
Thanks,
Vic.
