Wheels again, Tires, too 140-160

Hi Everyone,

Went tire shopping today. Had all kinds of fun.

My 145 has 165/80-15s front and 185/70 15s rear. Stock steel wheels with a dog dish hubcap (Unfortunately the Mopar "Cop Car" caps I have on my Duster are about a quarter inch too small)

I was thinking I should go with the 185s at all 4 corners since the speedometer would still be accurate and they wouldn't rub. But no one seems to make tall skinny 15 inch tires anymore. Practically every tire store I went to recommended a 205 of some sort and one place recommended a 195.

I'd have no problem going with a wider tire if I knew it wouldn't be likely to rub or be too wide for the steel wheels since I could re-use them when I find a set of Turbo alloys.

My Haynes manual lists 2 different possible widths of factory wheels. 4.5 or 5. The wheels on the 145 have 8 slots in them and have a dog dish cap with a small "V" in the center. WOuld you be able to tell me which width I have by this description, or would I have to get off my hiney and go measure?

Don't be afraid to let me know what you think here. Like usual I only sort of know what I'm doing. I trust your input more than some kid at a tire shop with 17s on his Civic.
