The 1990+ cars have a different air dam, so the bracket for pre-90 cars won't work. You'll have to fabricate a bracket and attach it to the bumper shock mounting bolts, by the cut outs.

I am about to do this to install a couple of Hella XLs, so I'll share the design when it is complete. Or maybe someone has already done so and is willing to share?
